This May, we are offering more opportunities to learn about cannabis! We are hosting a Cannabasics Class, a Terpene Table at each location, and our monthly Patient Support Group. Below is more information about these educational opportunities. Cannabasics

This class is a great way to learn about the basics of therapeutic cannabis. Whether you are completely new to therapeutic cannabis or you are very experienced, you can always learn more about this amazing plant. Join us on Saturday, May 6 at 11:00am at our Merrimack location in Unit C for our Cannabasics Class! Please sign up for the class ahead of time so we know to expect you.

Patient Support Group

Every month, we host a Patient Support Group on Zoom so patients can share stories and experiences. We have had a great group of people the last few months and have room for more. One benefit to using Zoom is that you can consume cannabis while we talk! This month’s Patient Support Group will be on Tuesday, May 16 at 5pm via Zoom. Please sign up beforehand so we can send you the link.

Terpene Table

Did you know that terpenes give cannabis its aroma and contribute to its effects? To share knowledge about these compounds, we will be setting up a “Terpene Table” at each dispensary. Visit our table to smell terpene samples and play “guess the terpene.” If you participate, you will get to spin a wheel and win a prize! The first Terpene Table will be on Thursday, May 25, from 11am until 2pm in Merrimack. The second will be on Tuesday, May 30, from 11am until 2pm in Chichester. If you are interested, stop by the dispensaries on that day to learn more and win a prize!

Spring is here, and it’s a great time to grow your knowledge about plants! This April, we are offering several educational opportunities to learn about therapeutic cannabis and to talk with our wonderful staff. If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please call us at either dispensary or email us at info@primeatc.com.

Evolution Expo

Evolution Expo is an event hosted by Holistic NH, which seeks to connect patients and providers with alternative healing modalities. We are excited to be there for the second year in a row to share information about Prime ATC and the therapeutic cannabis program. The event will take place at the Grappone Center in Concord on Sunday, April 2 from 9:00am until 4:00pm, and it is open to the public. If you register beforehand, the event is free, or it’s $10 at the door. Please stop by and say hello at our booth if you decide to attend!

Cannabasics Class

This new class is a great way to learn about the basics of therapeutic cannabis. We will host this class via Zoom, and it is open to anyone who is interested, including people who are not currently registered with the therapeutic cannabis program. Tinctures vs. Edibles

Both tinctures and edibles are great ways to consume cannabis, especially for anyone who doesn’t want to smoke or vape. This new class will help you understand the pros and cons of these two methods of consumption. For new patients, you can learn more about the product options and how they work. For experienced patients, you may learn a way to target symptoms that you haven’t been able to relieve with other products. Join us on Wednesday, April 12 at 5:00pm via Zoom! March Education!

This month, we are offering several more opportunities for you to learn about therapeutic cannabis, chat with our friendly staff, and meet other patients.

Terpene Class

For those who may have missed it last time, we are offering another Terpene Class on Friday, March 3 at 10:00am at our Merrimack location. This is a great way to learn more about the compounds in cannabis that contribute to the aroma, effects, and therapeutic benefits. You will get samples of the terpenes to smell so you can start getting familiar with the different aromas in cannabis. If you are interested in joining this class, please sign up ahead of time. New Patient Orientation

For patients and caregivers who are new to therapeutic cannabis, we recommend our New Patient Orientation. In March, we will offer one on Wednesday, March 8 at 5:00pm via Zoom and another on Saturday, March 25 at 10:00am at the Merrimack location. You can sign up for this class on the phone, by email, or by asking a staff member at either of our dispensaries. If you aren’t able to attend the class, feel free to call us at either dispensary to schedule an appointment with one of our patient educators. We would be happy to meet with you!

Breakfast with Buds

Last month, we hosted our first Breakfast with Buds. This month, we will be hosting one at each location! Come join us right as we open for coffee, donuts, and fruit. You can chat with our staff members and meet other patients. The first one this month will be on Friday, March 10, at 10:00am in Merrimack. The second will be on St. Patrick’s Day, Friday, March 17, at 10:00am in Chichester.

February Education

This February, we are offering four different educational opportunities for you to learn more about therapeutic cannabis from our knowledgeable staff!

For patients and caregivers who are new to cannabis and want to learn more, we recommend our New Patient Orientation. This month, the New Patient Orientation will be held in person at our Merrimack location on Friday, February 10th at 10am. You can sign up for this class on the phone, by email, or by asking a staff member at either of our dispensaries. If you aren’t able to attend the class, feel free to call us at either dispensary to schedule an appointment with one of our patient educators. We would be happy to meet with you!

Next, we will be trying something new in Chichester on Wednesday, February 15th at 9:30am. We’re calling it “Breakfast with Buds,” and we think it will be a great opportunity for patients to meet each other and chat informally with some of our staff. We will have good coffee and fresh donuts available in the lobby for you to enjoy before we open for business. No sign-ups required, just stop by!

At the end of this month, we will have a new Rolling Class! If you’ve never rolled before or if you have tried but can’t quite get it perfect, come learn from us! Even if you are experienced with rolling, you can try some different techniques. We will demonstrate some of the methods for rolling, and there will be a variety of tools that you can try. Our Rolling Class will take place at the Merrimack location on Saturday, February 25th at 10am.

January Education!

Why not begin 2023 with a healthy dose of cannabis education? Here at Prime, we take pride in providing patients and caregivers with the best possible education about therapeutic cannabis. We offer classes, support groups, and one-on-one consultations, and there is also a great deal of information available in the “Patient Education” section of our website.

In January, we will offer two New Patient Orientation classes for any patient or caregiver. The first one will be offered via Zoom on Thursday, January 12th, at 5pm and the second will be in person at the Merrimack location on Friday, January 27th, at 10am.

In addition to the New Patient Orientation classes, we are offering another Terpene Class for anyone who may have missed the last one. This class is a fun and interactive way to learn more about the compounds in cannabis that contribute to the aroma and the effects. The Terpene Class will be offered in person at the Merrimack location on Saturday, January 21st, at 10am. Space may be limited, so if you are interested, please call either dispensary or email us to sign up.

We also have a monthly patient support group that meets on Zoom where you can meet new people and share your experiences with cannabis. This month’s Patient Support group will be on Tuesday, January 17th, at 5pm via Zoom. All registered cannabis patients in New Hampshire are invited to join!

Prime’s January Education Calendar

Our one-on-one consultation appointments with a patient educator are open to any patient or caregiver at no cost. If you are a new patient, you can schedule one for your first visit, and if you are an existing patient, you can schedule a follow up at any time. We encourage you to schedule an appointment so we can ensure that someone is available to meet with you. You may be able to have a walk-in appointment, but we cannot guarantee that someone will be available.

If you prefer to learn by reading, we encourage you to check out our educational handouts and webpages. We have binders in the dispensaries full of handouts that you can take home with you. You can also find similar information on our website. We are always adding new content, so if you haven’t looked at what we have recently, you should check it out!
