Why not begin 2023 with a healthy dose of cannabis education? Here at Prime, we take pride in providing patients and caregivers with the best possible education about therapeutic cannabis. We offer classes, support groups, and one-on-one consultations, and there is also a great deal of information available in the “Patient Education” section of our website.

In January, we will offer two New Patient Orientation classes for any patient or caregiver. The first one will be offered via Zoom on Thursday, January 12th, at 5pm and the second will be in person at the Merrimack location on Friday, January 27th, at 10am.

In addition to the New Patient Orientation classes, we are offering another Terpene Class for anyone who may have missed the last one. This class is a fun and interactive way to learn more about the compounds in cannabis that contribute to the aroma and the effects. The Terpene Class will be offered in person at the Merrimack location on Saturday, January 21st, at 10am. Space may be limited, so if you are interested, please call either dispensary or email us to sign up.

We also have a monthly patient support group that meets on Zoom where you can meet new people and share your experiences with cannabis. This month’s Patient Support group will be on Tuesday, January 17th, at 5pm via Zoom. All registered cannabis patients in New Hampshire are invited to join!

Prime’s January Education Calendar

Our one-on-one consultation appointments with a patient educator are open to any patient or caregiver at no cost. If you are a new patient, you can schedule one for your first visit, and if you are an existing patient, you can schedule a follow up at any time. We encourage you to schedule an appointment so we can ensure that someone is available to meet with you. You may be able to have a walk-in appointment, but we cannot guarantee that someone will be available.

If you prefer to learn by reading, we encourage you to check out our educational handouts and webpages. We have binders in the dispensaries full of handouts that you can take home with you. You can also find similar information on our website. We are always adding new content, so if you haven’t looked at what we have recently, you should check it out!

November Classes

We are pleased to announce several November classes and support group meetings for the benefit of patients. If you’d like to sign up for any of these classes or meetings, we’d love to have you – just give us a call at either dispensary or email us at info@primeatc.com.

First, we will offer a New Patient Orientation class via Zoom at 10am on Friday, November 4. If that date doesn’t work for you, we’ll offer the same class in person at 10am on Saturday, November 19, in Merrimack (Unit C).

But that’s not all! For patients and caregivers who are interested in learning more about terpenes, we are offering a Terpene class in Merrimack at 10am on Wednesday, November 30. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the aromatic compounds that contribute to the flavor and effects of cannabis.

We are also offering three support groups this month. At our cancer support group, we will discuss patients’ experiences using cannabis to treat cancer. Our senior support group is intended for older patients. Lastly, our patient support group is open to any registered patients who would like to discuss their therapeutic cannabis experiences.

These support groups will all take place via Zoom at 5pm on the following dates: Tuesday, November 8 (Cancer), Wednesday, November 16 (Senior), and Tuesday, November 22 (Patient).

Finally, we will be setting up an “equipment table” at the dispensaries on Friday, November 11 (Merrimack) and Friday, November 25 (Chichester). This will be a great opportunity to learn more about the various types of equipment that are available to therapeutic cannabis patients and how to use them.

October Classes

Prime ATC is pleased to announce several October classes and support group meetings. If you’d like to sign up for any of these classes or meetings, we’d love to have you – just give us a call at either dispensary or email us at info@primeatc.com.

First, we will offer a New Patient Orientation class via Zoom at 5pm on Thursday, October 6. If that date doesn’t work for you, we’ll offer the same class in person at 10am on Saturday, October 15, in Merrimack (Unit C). A third New Patient Orientation class will take place via Zoom at 5pm on Thursday, October 27.

But that’s not all! For patients and caregivers who are interested in learning more about tinctures, we are offering a Tincture class via Zoom at 5pm on Thursday, October 20. The class will cover what tinctures are, how to use them, and the different options we have available.

We are also offering three support groups this month. At our chronic pain support group, we will discuss our experiences using cannabis for pain relief. Our caregiver support group is open to any registered caregiver. Lastly, our patient support group is open to any registered patients who would like to discuss their therapeutic cannabis experiences.

These support groups will all take place via Zoom at 5pm on the following dates: Tuesday, October 11 (Chronic Pain), Monday, October 17 (Caregiver), and Tuesday, October 25 (Patient).

September Classes!

We are pleased to announce that Prime ATC will offer several therapeutic cannabis classes and a support group in September.

First, we will hold our New Patient Orientation Class in person at 10am on Thursday, September 8, at our Merrimack location in Unit C. A second New Patient Orientation Class will be held via Zoom only at 5pm on Wednesday, September 14. If you’re new to therapeutic cannabis, this class is designed to help you get a better understanding of the basics.

Next, we will offer our Patient Support Group via Zoom only at 5pm on Tuesday, September 20. This peer-facilitated support group is open to any therapeutic cannabis patient in NH. The discussion will be focused around the challenges of being a therapeutic cannabis patient, public stigma about cannabis, and communicating with medical providers about therapeutic cannabis.

Last, but not least, our Terpene Class will be held in person at 4pm on Thursday, September 29, at our Merrimack location in Unit C. This class is open to any patient or caregiver who is interested in learning more about the aromatic compounds that give cannabis its aroma.

To register for any of these classes, you can either call us at either dispensary or email us at info@primeatc.com. In person classes will be limited to 10 registrants, and Zoom classes will be unlimited.
